The “Fireside Chat” series continues at Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St., Monday, July 16, at 7:30 p.m. with Gary Chichester.
Chichester—a member of the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame—is expected to discuss his extensive work with IML (International Mr. Leather) and his part in signing Chicago’s first Gay Pride Parade permit.
This will be the third segment of a four-part series designed to showcase the history and contributions of local luminaries. Baton owner Jim Flint and activist Vernita Gray were the first two subjects.
