On May 25, Howard Brown Health unveiled a mural celebrating Pride month, in collaboration with local artist David Anthony Geary.
The unveiling took place at Walsh Park, 1722 N. Ashland Ave.
Wintrust Bank's ongoing community partnership mural series highlights local non-profits every six weeks through three donated sides of a building visible from 90/94. Howard Brown's mural references touchstones of LGBTQ+ history and culture in Geary's signature style.
"We're thrilled to celebrate Pride month by helping to showcase a local talent like David Anthony Geary with a mural that celebrates our community's legacy," said Howard Brown President and CEO David Ernesto Munar in a statement. "We're also grateful for the donation of the space by Wintrust Bank, who is providing this incredible platform so all of Chicago can celebrate Pride month with us."
