July 9, 2007 - Windy City Times announces the newspaper's fifth annual theater subscription series with two world premieres, three Chicago premieres and some of Broadway and Off-Broadway's best shows.
A yearly sold-out event, the WCT Theater Series gives subscribers a chance to enjoy diverse shows with terrific seats at Chicago's top theaters, all while basking in the social aspect of going to the theatre. 'This year we are excited to have Stoli Vodka and Sidetrack Video Bar ( 3349 N. Halsted ) as sponsors providing fun pre-show parties where subscribers have a chance to mingle and chat about the series,' said Windy City staffer and theater series founder Amy Matheny.
The 2007-2008 series consists of eight shows with a special Halloween performance of The Phantom of the Opera at the Cadillac Palace Theatre. Plus subscribers will attend the highly anticipated award-winning comedy about a closeted movie star, The Little Dog Laughed. The 2007-2008 Windy City Times Theatre series includes:
