A non-profit agency to facilitate dating between HIV-positive people opened in Barcelona Dec. 26.

For $60 a year, “Sero-Pos” promises members a minimum of three dates with HIV-positive persons who match their stated tastes.

“The virus doesn’t damage only the immune system of affected people, but also their self-esteem,” said founder Werner Thoni. “They feel less attractive and consider themselves a danger to others.”
