Horizons Community Services Anti-Violence Project is hosting a workshop on West Asian/North African (Middle Eastern) communities throughout the world. Jamil Khoury will discuss working with and understanding the diversity that exist in the West Asian/North African (Middle Eastern), Arab and Muslim communities. The topics include but are not limited to: economics, current political climate and queer history in the region. Jamil Khoury is an Arab/Islamic Country and Cultural Expert Consultant, Cultural Interpreter, Diversity, Intercultural Consultant, and Cross-Cultural trainer. The event is at 961 W.
