To celebrate the life of Terrapin Theatre’s Artistic Director Brad Nelson Winters, who was murdered in August, the theater community will host a memorial Monday, Sept. 29, from 6:30-10 p.m. at Steppenwolf Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted (free). Doors open at 6:30 and a presentation will begin at 7 p.m., hosted by Terrapin Managing Director Jimmy Freund.

The evening will consist of several speakers, a video tribute, a salute from the Terrapin ensemble, songs, a moment of silence, and a ‘memorial smoke break.’ This approximately hour-long tribute will be followed by food, drink and an open mike, with the evening ending about 10.
