Dr. Nan Schaffer hosted supporters of Center on Halsted/Horizons Community Services last weekend. Among the guests was Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s Ted Allen, the show’s Food and Wine Guy, and his partner, Barry Rice. The Chicago couple met at Horizons.
The Horizons Society was created to acknowledge the generosity and leadership of those who support the agency’s programs with gifts of $500 or more. People who pledged $1,000 or more received a wine and steaks package from E. and J. Gallo Winery and Todd Allen Hatoff of Allen Brothers—The Great Steakhouse Steaks.
