Gobble-Gobble to you all as the fall season is here. Here is a list of tunes that will help you shake off some of those holiday fixings, CDs to add to your collection and general info of interest!

San Francisco Sessions V4: Soundtrack To The Soul – Kaskade (OM Records)

OM Records has done it again! I received this promo in the mail and waited a few days to listen. While re-vamping my vinyl collection, I threw it on and kept getting interrupted by the track selection and having to replay a few. Soundtrack To The Soul by Kaskade is an extension of this man’s versatility. Fourteen tracks and some unreleased (including the title track, with vocals by Anthony Green), ‘I Need Your Love’ by Harrison Crump, ‘Funky Music’ by Pound Boys featuring Thea Austin and the gospel anthem ‘The Light’ by Jamie Lewis featuring Michelle Weeks, showcases to fans old and new what lies deep within the soul of this man. As of this writing, Kaskade is on tour promoting this exciting release and will be coming to Chicago Dec. 6, so mark your calendar. For more information on Kaskade or other OM artists and releases, visit www.om-records.com.

Deep Concentration 4: Wreckin’ The Floor (OM Records)

OM Records returns with the fourth volume of their legendary hip-hop series, Deep Concentration. The tempo and rhymes may have changed but the emphasis is on rocking the party. Some of the artists featured here include ‘Speed Bump’ by Strange Fruit Project, ‘Here Comes The Judge’ by Zeph and Azeem and ‘Something’ by Crown City Rockers. Although not your typical Top 40 hip-hop, it’s definitely worth the listen.
