SHOUT!, the Lakeside Pride Jazz Ensemble, will perform Sunday, Nov. 9, in its 4th annual ‘Live at Circuit’ concert. Joining the 20-piece big band directed by Mark Thompson will be special guests, the Lucy Smith Quartet. Doors open at 4 p.m. at Circuit, 3641 N. Halsted. A $10 donation at the door benefits Lakeside Pride, Chicago’s gay and lesbian community bands. Circuit is hosting the party and is an event sponsor.
SHOUT! performs a wide variety of music including swing, latin, pop and Broadway hits specifically selected for the city’s ‘most colorful and diverse audience.’ Works by George Gershwin will be featured.
SHOUT!, the ‘Swingin’ Side of Lakeside Pride,’ has performed at a variety of benefits and community events throughout the Chicago area.
