The Windy City Times (WCT) Questionnaire was different for each race. Gery Chico and Nancy Skinner were the only U.S. Senate candidates to back same-sex marriage. When the number is listed 21/21 that means they got all 21 questions correct; 12/15 would mean 12 of 15 answers correct, etc.
For U.S. Reps, their Human Rights Campaign Fund voting records for the 106th and 107th Congresses are listed, where applicable (if they were in office).
Equality Illinois’ endorsing group, the Illinois Federation for Human Rights-PAC (listed as E.I.) did not make any endorsement for state Senate. The Illinois NOW PAC endorsed in only certain races. The AIDS Foundation of Chicago asked a series of AIDS-related questions of Senate candidates.
