The AIDS Foundation of Chicago will transform the Hilton Chicago into a time-traveling dance party for its 14th annual Not Just Song & Dance; feel the beat, dig that scene benefit gala. The May 1 event’s journey will begin in 2004 and conclude in the 1970s with a live performance by Björn Again, the best ABBA show in the world.

Björn Again brings the hit sound and style of ABBA to life in a spectacular performance of songs such as, ‘Dancing Queen’ and ‘Waterloo.’ Renowned for keeping audiences dancing through the night, Björn Again is the most successful ABBA show in the world, having performed more than 3,000 live shows in more than 50 countries since originating in 1988. The popularity of Björn Again continues to increase tremendously with the success of the hit musical Mamma Mia, based on ABBA songs. Saturday, May 22 is the Queer is Folk Festival, with Melissa Ferrick and Ernie Lijoi headlining. GLBT folk performers from around the country, including Wishing Chair, Coat, Andrea Bunch, and Blackberri, one of the first openly gay African American folk artists, perform.
