After a sell-out run this summer, Michael Moore is back with his one-man show. LEGS! is the tale of the svelte and lovely Michael Moore, with gorgeous eyes and a casual élan … ‘not the story of the other, less lovely filmmaker,’ he states. LEGS! is the story of the rise (and sometimes) fall of a white trash boy who overcomes the odds to become fabulous. The production will run at Stage Left, 3408 N. Sheffield. Opening night was Oct. 5. Performances are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8 p.m., $14.99. The production is scheduled to close Wednesday, Nov. 3. Reservations: (773) 459-8056 or LEGSinfo@yahoo.com.
LEGS! is comprised of scenes written by Michael Moore, based loosely on true stories and his life experiences. LEGS! offers a view on racism, homosexuality, heterosexuality, show business, therapy, first loves, religion and the true life of Jesus Christ. Moore’s original monologues are complemented by music and dance. Second City, GayCo and Second City Las Vegas alumnus Butch Jerinic direct Moore’s production.
Opening the show for Moore are the One Trick Ponies with their new show twenty-eight.
