The Let’s Talk, Let’s Test Foundation (LTLTF) and the Chicago Bulls have joined forces to coordinate the first ‘Slam Dunk HIV/AIDS Night’ on Jan. 15 at the United Center. This game, in which the Bulls will face the New York Knicks, will make it possible for Chicago’s service organization community to raise $210,000 in one night by selling 21,000 tickets. Any organization seeking to raise funds for a not-for-profit cause can participate. For every ticket sold, the organization and the LTLTF receives five dollars.

The mission of the Let’s Talk, Let’s Test campaign is to raise awareness about the threat that HIV/AIDS presents to the residents in the greater Chicagoland area.

The more specific goals of the campaign are to educate Chicago-area residents about HIV/AIDS; encourage individuals to become aware of their HIV status through testing; and highlighting and coordinating available resources and services through community partnership.
