Chicago Black Gays and Lesbians is hosting a showing of ‘The Closet’ and a “Celebration of Friends” event at Club Escape on Jan. 8 at 1530 E. 75th, starting at 6 p.m. The group is also hosting the 8th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr., celebration entitled ‘Community Building for Building Our Communities.’ This event will be on Jan. 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., at St. Kevin Church, 10509 South Torrence.
