Kelly Kinnison, 28, is definitely one busy individual. She is currently coordinator of the LGBT Interest Group’s information table at the 10th national biennial conference of the Society for Community Research and Action, which was held June 9-12 at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Kelly is also student delegate to the U of I Domestic Partnership Task Force and published ‘Integrating the self: A strategy for successful social change,’ in the LGBT column of The Community Psychologist. In addition, Kinnison continues to serve on the policy subcommittee of the UIC Chancellor’s Committee on LGBT Issues. She also has help organize the Chicago Dyke March.
DID YOU KNOW? In high school Kelly was a competitive ballroom dancer and participated in the national semifinals her junior year.
