Redmoon Theater’s second annual autumn outdoor spectacular, Loves Me … Loves Me Not, unfolds on the Jackson Park Lagoon south of the Museum of Science and Industry, Sept. 15-25. Redmoon transforms the lagoon into a waterbound village complete with watercraft, a sunken house and 14 survivors of a cataclysmic flood, accompanied by a live band and the Nia Imani Youth Gospel Choir.

Spectacle ’05: Loves Me … Loves Me Not underwent last-minute changes to reflect the Hurricane Katrina calamity, perhaps a case of a ‘woman’ scorned. Performances at dusk (approx. 7:30 p.m.), rain or shine. (312) 850-8440, ext. 111; $10 (free shows Sept. 15, 19 and 21).
