In New York, Syracuse University’s newest fraternity, the gay-friendly Delta Lambda Phi (DLP), received a national charter. The Daily Orange reported that DLP has been in existence as a ‘colony’ since 2003. Treasurer Vince Cocca said that ‘ [i] t’s really a ‘progressive’ fraternity and open to everybody.’
