The Chicago Kings take the stage as a troupe for the final time Friday, Dec. 16 at the Metro. They will conclude their five year journey with a bang, showcasing the large ensemble theatrical pieces that have gained them an international reputation in the performance community.

The Chicago Kings will welcome the North Carolina Cuntry Kings onto the Metro Nightclub stage. This guest troupe will be showing off their own brand of stylized large-cast performances which are generally rooted in social and political commentary.

Show is 9 p.m., Metro Nightclub, 3730 N. Clark St., $16; 18+. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster and the Metro box office.

The show will be MC’ed by Jessica Halem and Maxwell of the Columbus, Ohio HIS Kings. DJ Dragonfire spins after the show.

After nearly five years and almost 200 appearances across the nation, The Chicago Kings is taking its final bow as a membership-based organization. With a smirk beneath their ‘staches and a tear in their eyes, this tight group of 30+ performers has chosen to part ways in search of new adventures. Individual kings will undoubtedly still be seen hamming it up on stages near and far, and Bloody Mary Productions (the production company behind the Chicago Kings events) will still be producing events.
