Gordon Walter Adams passed away March 2 after a brief illness. He was 75. Adams recently retired as vice president of pension sales at CNA Insurance after 36 years of employment. He also was a United States Marine Corps Korean War veteran. His passions were traveling; collecting antiques; fine wine and dining; and spending time with those he loved.
Adams leaves behind countless numbers of people, including his life partner of 25 years, Carl Mitchell; siblings Richard Adams, Arlene Salzgeber, Karen Verr and Donna Bonk; and 6 nephews, 5 nieces 12 great-nephews and 4 great-nieces. A memorial service was held March 10 at Mi Tierra, one of Adams’s favorite restaurants.
