On June 19, the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame will begin its 2006 fundraising effort with the 15th Pride and Joy Reception at Star Gaze, 5419 N. Clark, 6-10 p.m.
The evening will include an international dinner buffet. The 2005 Hall of Fame exhibit will be on display, and nomination forms for 2006 inductions will be available. Jessica Halem and Renae Ogletree will be the hosts for the evening, and there will be appearances by DJ Sheron and Windy City Gay Idols.
Star Gaze is underwriting the entire cost of the evening. The money raised will be used to cover the expenses of the 2006 Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame induction ceremony and reception, which will be open to all for free. Tickets are $10.
