The Bucktown-Wicker Park Branch of the Chicago Public Library, located 1701 N. Milwaukee, will open to the public on Mon., July 10. The newly constructed branch facility will be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It will be closed on Sunday.
Among the library’s many new features are free Internet, free WiFi access and online research databases. The new facility will have a $400,000 opening day collection of books and materials that includes everything from reference books to audio players.
