OZ, HBO’s acclaimed and (some would say) all-too-realistic prison drama, will have its sixth and final season out on DVD on Sept. 5.
The final season continues to show the relentless war for power inside the Oswald State Correctional Facility that is waged among and between inmates and correctional officers. As the series comes to a close, some of the main characters will experience redemption and spiritual awakenings.
The three-disc set will include eight episodes as well as 30 minutes of deleted scenes; three audio commentaries with series creator Tom Fontana and various cast members; original cast audition tapes; and an exclusive extended cut of the series finale, ‘Exeunt Omnes’ (‘All go out’).
