Longtime musician and songwriter Burt Bacharach will be featured at a Human Rights Campaign-endorsed fundraiser for Tammy Duckworth, an Iraqi War veteran who is the Democratic candidate for the Sixth U.S. Congressional District of Illinois.
The event will be held Sept. 30, 5-7 p.m., at 605 Cumnor Ave. in Glen Ellyn. Tickets range from $250-$400 each and can be purchased at www.DuckworthforCongress.com/BacharachGlenEllyn or call Drew Seman at 630-792-1290.
Bacharach is behind songs such as Alfie, What the World Needs Now Is Love and I Say a Little Prayer. At the fundraiser, he will be taking photos, signing autographs and singing.
