Deaf Communication by Innovation (DCI), 1700 W. Irving Park Rd., the only deaf and gay-owned and -operated interpreting/multimedia agency in America, is offering American Sign Language classes. Students will build their sign vocabularies while becoming acquainted with aspects of deaf culture.
Monday classes will start Oct. 2; Tuesday courses will begin Oct. 3. Each session will last six weeks. Class size is limited to only eight students to ensure individual attention and training. The cost is $150.
