The Chicago Chapter of the American Veterans for Equal Rights hosted its 14th annual Veteran’s Day dinner at Ann Sather in Andersonville Saturday night. Featured speaker was Rob Fojtik of Northwestern University, one of the gay students making news recently for being arrested trying to enlist in the U.S. military. There was also a presentation of a service award to JoAnn Ariano.
