The Center on Halsted held their first women’s gala dinner Saturday, at Kendall College. This effort was part of the Center’s final challenge grant fundraising campaign, featured elsewhere in this edition. The event honored a couple dozen ‘WOW’ women in Chicago, and featured comic Vickie Shaw.
