The Milwaukee LGBT Community Center’s youth program Project Q, in collaboration with the National Youth Advocacy Coalition, has announced the formation of the first-ever nationally-focused National Youth Review Board as part of Project Q’s National Transgender Education Project (NTEP).
The 13-member board is made up of youth leaders aged 16-24 from nine states—Alaska, California, Colorado, Florida, Maine, Michigan, New York, Ohio and Texas. They will be responsible for the development and review of the NTEP to ensure appropriate representation for the diverse youth population for whom the curriculum is targeted.
