The Young Women’s Empowerment Project (YWEP) threw its annual Autumn Variety Show and silent auction at Open End Gallery on Nov. 11. Performers included poet and activist Staceyann Chin, Nikki Patin and musicians Nomy Lamm and Amy Kasio.
YWEP offers a safe space for girls and young women impacted by the sex industry. The organization reached out to 250 women and girls last year. For more information, see youarepriceless.org.
