Sir Ian McKellen will narrate the fantasy film Stardust, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film—which also stars Claire Danes, Robert de Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer—is about a young man who has an adventure with witches, gnomes, talking animals and other beings while trying to retrieve a fallen star for his beloved in the faerie world.

Megan Mullally’s daytime talk show has been cancelled because of low ratings, according to the Associated Press. The bisexual actress was beloved for her role as Karen on Will & Grace, which ended last May; Mullally’s talk show debuted in September.

The film, directed by Theron’s lover Stuart Townsend, should be in theaters later this year.

Alan Cumming married illustrator Grant Shaffer in a civil ceremony outside London over the weekend of Jan. 8, according to WTOPNews.com. The couple, who had been dating two years, were married at the Old Royal Naval College in the town of Greenwich. Among the 140 guests were Ian McKellen, Geri Halliwell, Rufus Wainwright, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Monica Lewinsky.
