As part of its 2007 Spring Series, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago (HSDC) will have a program and reception on April 22 that are geared toward the LGBT community.

This special event will starts with Program B: Vivid Blooms, which features the world premiere of HSDC Artistic Director Jim Vincent’s Palladio; the Harris Theater premiere of Jorma Elo’s From All Sides; and the return of HSDC dancer Alejandro Cerrudo’s Lickety-Split and Jirí Kylián’s Petite Mort. The post-show party will feature hors d’oeuvres; cocktails; and a chance to meet, party and dance with the HSDC dancers. Special guest DJ and HSDC dancer Martin Lindinger will spin the music and there will be a special appearance by the Chicago Spirit Brigade.

The performance will begin at 3 p.m. at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, 205 E. Randolph. The reception will start at 5 p.m. at the Fairmont Chicago in the Moulin Rouge room.
