The Chicago chapter of EQUAL (PepsiCo’s gay employee group) recently welcomed 18 of the Youth Pride Center (YPC) to the Century Plaza, 555 W. Monroe, according to a YPC release.
The theme, ‘Bringing Your Whole Self to Work,’ included EQUAL members sharing coming-out stories and workplace experiences. The event was hosted by George Montalbano, EQUAL’s new community relations committee chairman.
Other events on EQUAL’s upcoming schedule include Chicago’s Citywide Pride; The Gay Pride Parade; and AIDS walks in Chicago and New York City.
