Among the other honorees are the Chicago Department of Public Health’s Lora Branch (Outstanding Female—Local), advocate Aaron Bowen (Outstanding Male—Local), actress-singer Sheryl Lee Ralph (Special Citation, Outstanding Service—National), activist Jasmyne Cannick (Outstanding Female—National) and the National Minority Council on AIDS (Outstanding Social Service Organization—National).
