Several events took place recently in Chicago that spotlighted gay (-friendly) celebrities. On July 28, actor and former American Idol finalist Jim Verraros and actress Mink Stole appeared at Borders, 2817 N. Clark, to promote their new DVD, Eating Out 2. On July 26, OUT magazine held an event at J Bar, 610 N. Rush, that featured HGTV personality David Bromstad and that benefitted Chicago House.
