The Chicago Black Gay Men’s Caucus will sponsor The 3rd Annual LoveFest on Aug. 26 at Jackson Park, 6401 S. Stony Island, 5-10 p.m.
Mz. Ruff-n-Stuff and Otis Mack will co-host the event, which will feature food and entertainment. Among the highlights will be performances by local entertainers Dajae (best known for her hit, Brighter Days) and Mr. Ali, a house-soul collective. For those into ball culture, there will also be the Avant Garde Stonewall Prevention Mini Ball.
Should the event be rained out, the make-up day will be Sept. 9.
