Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama recently received the political blessings of Sen. Edward Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy and Rep. Patrick Kennedy.
‘With Barack Obama, we will turn the page on the old politics of misrepresentation and distortion,’ Edward Kennedy said.
Another member of the Kennedy clan—Maria Shriver, wife of California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger—also has endorsed Obama.
However, not all Kennedys are on board. Three of Robert Kennedy’s children—Kathleen Kenndy Townsend, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Kerry Kennedy—endorsed Hillary Clinton in a recent L.A. Time’s op-ed piece.
