In commemoration of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, Feb. 7, AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC) is unveiling a set of tools and resources created to help Black churches start discussions about HIV/AIDS in their communities and with their congregants, according to a press release.

Participants in AFC’s multi-year project, called Faith in Prevention, helped develop the materials to expand the number of Black churches responding to HIV/AIDS with accurate and engaging messages. The toolkit includes a training manual to help churches form HIV/AIDS ministries, fact sheets about HIV/AIDS and tips on fighting stigma.
