Macy’s upcoming Glamorama 2008 event benefiting the Art Institute of Chicago will time-warp to the ’80s.
Pop icon Cyndi Lauper (who was recently in town in connection with her True Colors tour) and ’90s hip-hop star MC Hammer will headline the annual fashion soiree, set to take place Fri., Aug. 22, at 8 p.m., at the Chicago Theatre.
A post-party at Macy’s on State Street featuring dancing and ’80s fare will follow.
