Personal PAC President and CEO Terry Cosgrove will be among those given an award by Independent Voters of Illinois Independent Precinct Organization (IVI-IPO) during its 64th Annual Independents’ Day “Bridging the Generations” event on Aug. 2.
Cosgrove, who is openly gay, will receive the Harold Washington Award. Personal PAC is a bipartisan political action committee to electing pro-choice candidates in Illinois.
During the annual event, State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias will be honored. Other award recipients include the People’s Law Office, Rep. Julie Hamos, Working Families Win, DuPage Against War Now and professor Timuel D. Black.
