Windy City Rodeo 2008, the 12th annual IGRA sanctioned rodeo hosted by the Illinois Gay Rodeo Association (ILGRA), will take place Aug. 22-24, in Crete, Ill.
On the first day, registration will take place at the Doubletree, 5000 W. 127th, Alsip, 6-9 p.m. A party will follow at Club Krave, 13126 S. Western, Blue Island.
The actual rodeo will be held Aug. 23-24 at Six Guns Ranch & Arena, 26926 S. Stateline Road, Crete. Admission is $15 per person per day, and tickets may be purchased at the gate.
Proceeds from the rodeo will benefit Howard Brown Health Center, Vital Bridges and Direct Aid. Nightspots magazine, a part of Windy City Media Group, is a sponsor of the rodeo.
