The AIDS Foundation of Chicago will honor the people and organizations that supported the 2008 AIDS Run & Walk Chicago Thursday, Nov. 13, 5-8 p.m., at its annual meeting at the University of Chicago’s Gleacher Center, 450 N. Cityfront Plaza.
This year’s event doubled its participation and has netted more than $490,000 for AIDS-related services. The slated honorees are: Dave Samber, Polo Café & Catering; Chicago Creative Partnership (advertising sponsor) ; Chicago FootworKINGz (ambassadors) ; The Children’s Place Association (The Highest Raising CommunityDirect Team) ; Gap/Banana Republic (most spirited corporate team) ; and WVON 1690AM: The Talk of Chicago (media sponsor).
