The 20th anniversary of the Rhinoceros Theatre Festival will take place until March 1—and there will be plenty of fare for LGBT audiences.
One of the scheduled productions if Ralph (until Feb. 21), described as ” [a] mythic story of love, loneliness and liberation, told by a gay schizophrenic living on the edge.”
Another is Big Goddess Pow Wow: From the Ashes, a one-time event occurring Saturday, Feb. 7, at 8 p.m. Co-curators Paula Killen and Lisa Buscani will be joined by Pow Wow veterans Cin Salach, Marcia Wilkie, Jenny Magnus, Cheryl Trykv, C.C. Carter and Naomi Ashley. The evening’s festivities will be hosted by Susan Messing of the Annoyance Theater’s Messing with Friends. The Goddesses have been performing on Chicago stages with their stories since 1992.
