Milwaukee PrideFest, The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin and the Zoological Society of Milwaukee County Zoo will all come together Saturday, March 14, to remember community member Vic Milford at at MOCT nightclub, 240 E. Pittsburgh, Milwaukee.
Milford, a Miller Brewing Company executive originally from South Africa, was killed in an apparent mugging in Milwaukee’s Walker’s Point neighborhood Jan. 26, 2008. During the June, 2008 Pride Parade, Vic was honored by a group of his friends who marched in the parade vowing to “Keep Vic’s Smile Alive.”
An auction (with drink specials) will start at 9:30 p.m., followed by a fashion show at 10:30 p.m. See www.pridefest.com.
