Affinity Community Services—a non-profit organization that serves Chicago’s Black lesbian and bisexual women’s community—has announced the hiring of its first executive director, Kim L. Hunt, a former board member.
Hunt is co-founder of O-H Community Partners, a management consulting firm. In addition, she assisted with the development of the bid book for Gay Games VII and served as board president for the Chicago Center for Urban Life and Culture.
Affinity’s major initiatives include the development of a Youth Leadership Institute, expansion of health advocacy work and hosting its annual fundraiser, Jazz N July, July 25 at the DuSable Museum of African American History, 740 E. 56th.
