WCBP was again in full swing with a slew of events July 1-6, including a VIP reception at Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted (where WCT Managing Editor Andrew Davis was honored as newspaper reporter of the year and Windy City Queercast’s Amy Matheny received an award for best podcast) ; an opening reception at Chicago South Loop Hotel, 2600 S. State; a 10-year anniversary party at Prop House, 1675 N. Elston; a poetry slam at Bronzeville Community Clubhouse, 3847 S. Giles; and a festival at Sherman, 1301 W. 52nd.
