The Federation of Gay Games (FGG) recently honored three Chicagoans for their contributions to the Gay Games movement. The awards were first presented at the annual FGG meeting held in Cologne a few weeks ago, but were also presented in Chicago during a benefit for the Gay Games scholarship program Nov. 19 at Mary’s Attic, 5400 N. Clark. Dick Uyvari and his late partner Joe La Pat were honored for their outreach and scholarship support, and Tracy Baim, former Chicago Gay Games VII co-vice-chair, was awarded for her media and journalism work.
