The Gwendolyn Brooks Center for Black Literature and Creative Writing and the HIV/AIDS Youth Prevention Education program are sponsoring a town-hall discussion and literary performance on World AIDS Day, Dec. 1.
The discussion will take place at Chicago State University’s (CSU’s) Cordell Reed Student Union Rotunda, 9501 S. King, 12:30-2 p.m. The literary performance—which will feature famed poet/spoken-word artist Staceyann Chin—will take place at the CSU Library Sun Room, 9501 S. King, 7-9 p.m.
