Club Hindi-Urdu honored Ifti Nasim at “Yeh Shaam Mastani,” an event celebrating accomplishments of the South Asian Diaspora living in the US and encouraging the emergence of Hindi-Urdu speaking professionals in the fields of academics, business, and entertainment.

Nasim, an out Pakistani poet living in Chicago, author of ‘Narman’ and other books of poetry in both Urdu and English, was honored Nov. 16 for his work representing gay South Asians.
