Michael C. Hall, 38—best known for his lead role as a serial killer on the TV series Dexter and for his portrayal of gay funeral director David Fisher on the show Six Feet Under—has been diagnosed with cancer, according to US Magazine. In a statement, Hall said that he is being treated successfully for Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He added that was lucky to have a “treatable and curable condition.”
Hall still plans to attend the Jan. 17 Golden Globe Awards with his wife, Dexter co-star Jennifer Carpenter.
