Trikone-Chicago—a Chicago/Midwest group for people of South Asian (Desi) origin who identify as homosexual, gay, lesbian, bisexual, queer, transsexual, transgender or questioning—will hold “KalaKranti 2010” Saturday, Jan. 23, at 4:30 p.m. at @mosphere, 5355 N. Clark.
The event will showcase queer South Asian performers. (The name is a fusion of artistic creation [kala] and revolution [kranti].) Also, Ifti Nasim and Sarwat Rumi will be honored for their contributions to the community.
