Researchers at Rush University Medical Center are seeking HIV-positive individuals who need new drugs because their current medications are not working.

Participants will receive FDA-approved medicines to treat their HIV. The medications are selected based on the type of virus they have and the resistance profile of that virus. Among other things, participants must be on a protease-inhibitor medicine and their HIV-1 viral load must be higher than 1,000. Contact Dr. Beverly Sha at 312-942-5865.
